{"id":700,"date":"2026-06-03T14:42:22","date_gmt":"2026-06-03T14:42:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staging.delightingingod.com\/?p=700"},"modified":"2026-06-03T15:31:17","modified_gmt":"2026-06-03T15:31:17","slug":"the-trinity-revealed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.delightingingod.com\/index.php\/2026\/06\/03\/the-trinity-revealed\/","title":{"rendered":"The Trinity Revealed"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Importance of the Trinity - Part 1 - The Trinity Revealed\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/lhbGDe5TRRA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Everyone has a sense that there must be someone or something behind this universe but the question is, can we discover who or what this is?\u00a0 Even the great physicist, Einstein, conjectured that it is as though a great mathematician designed the universe.\u00a0 Interestingly, all religions seek answers to this question.\u00a0 So can we know anything about this creator designer?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Well the Bible contains the unique revelation of who this creator God is.\u00a0 It provides us with an amazing insight, namely, that God is three persons in one, the Trinity. Many Christians would say this is a very difficult subject, almost one to be avoided.\u00a0 Some religions even speak against the Trinity.\u00a0 However, delighting in the Trinity is the key that unlocks the door to the Christian faith and life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the New Testament, there is an event that stands out. It is the baptism of Jesus.\u00a0 And In Mark 1: 9 &#8211; 11, it says, \u201cIn those days Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan. And when he came up out of the water, immediately he saw the heavens being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove.And a voice came from heaven, \u201cYou are my beloved Son, with you I am well pleased\u201d\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is amazing. In this we see God revealing to us who He is, namely, Father, Son, that is Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, this is not easy to comprehend.\u00a0 The disciples were certainly puzzled.\u00a0 They were with Jesus for 3 years and at the end of this time Jesus said to them \u201cIf you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.\u201d\u00a0 This is from John 14:7.\u00a0 And then one of the disciples asked Jesus, \u201cOh please show us God the Father and it will be enough\u201d. And Jesus replied, \u201cHave I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip?
